NCAAC
NCAAC is Northamptons premier gymnastics club, we offer gymnastics classes to all ages and abilities of gymnasts, from 18 months to 18 years, we have a class to suit most budding young gymnasts! Our pre-school classes are open to anyone that is not yet attending school, we suggest that you wait until they are walking, as they will get the most out of the class this way. Our girls recreational classes are open to anyone, no gymnastics experience required! We have also recenlty opened a boys recreational class which is slowly gorwing and we hope one day that it will be as big as our girls classes! We have a competative squad that regularly compete regionally and within the county, we have also recntly had one of our squad members selected for a national team!
Our History
EST: 1863
N.C.A.A.C. or Northampton County Amateur Athletics Club. Founded in 1863 it embraced sports such as boxing, cycling, swimming, athletics, and of course, gymnastics. We are the oldest gymnastics club in the country and, by virtue of a Royal Charter, the only sports club in the county allowed to use the coat of arms of Northamptonshire which we display proudly as our club badge. Today, only the gymnastics section remains but we are still known as NCAAC. In 1888, along with four other clubs, NCAAC founded the “National Amateur Gymnastics Association” which, as the British Gymnastics Association, is now the governing body of our sport. For many years, the club trained in local school gymnasiums until finally, in August 2000, we moved into a full-time training venue in Moulton Park Industrial Estate. 10 years later we relocated to our current facility in the Rothersthorpe Avenue Trading Estate where our circa 500 members enjoy our fully equipped training and competition facilities.

Facilities
Our Equipment
The apperatus in our gym is just one of the reasons we are able to offer the wide range of sessions that we are! Since moving to our new building, we have been able to expand our arsenal of equipment to include another sprung floor, and new set of bars and a tumble track! We are always looking at improving the quality of our sessions so often hold fundraisers to help us fund new equipment that will help us do so. If you are inetested in contributing, keep an eye out for our next fundraiser or speak to one of our coaches during your next visit!
